About Gale Franey

Education

I graduated with honours from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) New Media and Web Development Program.

Courses included Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Protools, Html, CSS, graphics and typography for both web and print.

Past Work and Projects

I've taught Photoshop and Illustrator at BCIT at the Burnaby and the downtown campus, in the New Media and Web Development Program.

I've created a series of children's book illustrations, book cover design and card art. I built this responsive website using current html5 and CSS3 protocol.

Prior to working with digital art and graphics, I worked as Hotel - Residence Manager at the YMCA in Vancouver, Canada.
